RS3 is a different gameas it is not your game does not mean it's a game that is worse. In my experience, the majority of us couldn't care less about OSRS, it is another game, it's not our game so we don't have any reason to discuss it. Neither are bad, they're just different versions of the identical genre.

What we do hate is that the OSRS gamers (who I also hope are not the majority) who feel the need to inform us that our game sucks, coming to tell us we are dumb for enjoying"ezscape". We perform RS3 for different reasons when you play OSRS, do not assume we're attempting to play your game but made simpler or prettier, that's just not it. I streamed RS3 for some time, and I just had 8 or 9 viewers the majority of the time. Yet somehow, multiple times a week, I would have somebody hop in conversation and rant and rave about how dreadful RuneScape is and how I shouldn't be playing it. It almost feels like the OSRS community cares more about placing the RS3 community than simply choosing to support other members of their community.

I personally couldn't play with OSRS, but I know a good number of people who played only RS3 for years, and have since begun playing OSRS account too. There are a number of people who like both, I don't think that it's a large percentage, but it is definitely not an insignificant quantity. I like watching OSRS content, not stream level, but YouTube clips of streams or progress updates on obstacle balances. I really enjoy watching people enjoy their match, but it's not a game that I like myself. Onto the differences in games that matter to me personally.

I've played RS on and off because 2006/2007, I liked the OS content as it was still new, and eoc scared me off like most of the community. But I came back and gave it a serious try and really enjoyed it. RS3 has a massive number of quests, and many have rewards that assist you in some way or another even after you are done. On top of that, they can provide decent filler space to if skilling gets dull, and you require a rest or another way to earn exp.
