It was either bonds or runescape. Gold farmers were using stolen credit cards to pay for tens of thousands of memberships for all and hots that money got refunded through banks to the initial account holders. Cause that occurred so much, banks told Jagex that you need to sort this out or we wont perform transactions with you except due to this high amount of theft on between your game going. They had to do something trigger that could have murdered the method that they accept payments for membership from round the world.
The -only- reason that you have to play OSRS, and possess this argument and totally miss the point that I made that, is since Jagex made the decision to continue runescape with no jungle, free trade, and introduce bonds to fight gold farmers and stolen credit cards. That's all there's to it. Long prior to EOC was introduced, Jagex did those things to maintain runescape going. OP is whining about Jagex's stance over a decade and a half ago compared to now, probably completely unaware of the challenges Jagex faced and the reasons they left the choices they did.You just get to play OSRS due to MTX whether you want to accept that or not, because Jagex made the choice to maintain runescape running with MTX and did what they needed to do to maintain sellers doing business together. There's nothing to argue about this actuality. Goodbye.
Great questions. I have experience with MMO private servers over the years breezed through this location that was tough. There are no physics calculations host side, at the moment it's all distance tests. It supported nicely enough to deter any type of client side data. It runs fine but scaling it to thousands of customers is another story. This is more difficult to test at the minute but it's having a lightweight network library, just put in some multithreadijg in and it ought to be enough on a server that is fast.
