There must be at minimum 40 players playing in any game. Every player is taken to a city, whether the lumbridge, varrock or seer's village. All of them must defend their home until they've defeated all the zombies, they'll be coming in waves, each wave becoming more difficult, the final wave is wave 5. when they've defeated wave 5, they'll be transported by the spirits of deceased warriors that died trying to defeat the zombies to falador, where they will meet with teams from the other cities.
First thing they need to do is beat the "hive", a huge egg-shaped, gooey yellowish-colored creature that spews horrible gunk at players. Once they have defeated it there's a boss zombie that emerges from it. It starts at 400 and rises by 20 levels for every player that remains on the field.
When you've overcome the boss zombie You will earn corruption points, which are used to buy rewards in the minigame. Here are some ideas for the rewards: Rod of Darkness, a magical staff that drains three quarters of your health and inflicts poison and 25 injuries to those within 5 aquares or less of you (note:this only works if you have full health).
Rod of Light, a magical staff that is able to bind a designated target for 5 seconds and takes 1/10 of their health each second, which is then put onto your hitpoints.
