"I think you will find more people like Jair at your average college than you'd believe," Wood explained. "People that are crazy good at a video game, they simply have not had an outlet to have it be anything more than random matchmaking online."

After moving to Lake Stevens at the fall of 2019, Velazquez didn't have a lot of time at college before doors were shuttered in the spring.
