The NBA 2K21 Floor General Rewind Packs were declared as a launch in MyTeam mode on Wednesday, May 26, via 2K's social websites. In a Twitter article they shared (under ), they mentioned Dark Issue cards for Jason Williams, Grant Hill, D-Rose, Magic, and Kobe. These cards are all making their returns to packs after being previously featured in other string.

The Kobe Bryant Dark Matter Invincible is one of the top prizes offered from the release. It goes for over a million MT in market listings and contains some impressive features. Those include 99 Outside Scoring and Playmaking and 98s for Inside Scoring, Athleticism, and Defending. There is also 60 Hall of Fame Badges to Provide assistance like Tireless Shooter, Relentless Finisher, Ankle Breaker, and Clamps.
