These packs are similar to gambling in that you are not purchasing a specific card, but rather paying for the opportunity to get that card maintain a bunch.So, what happens with ultimate team game modes is 1 percent of those players will spend stupid amounts of money on packs to get the best cards.

Anyone who would like to compete with these folks must also spend real money or grind endlessly to get to the exact same level. To add insult to injury, new cards and packs are added all of the time, so there is always reason to buy the latest and best packs.I really don't play with these game styles but I watched some buddies in college monitor the pack/card marketplace like it had been the god damn NASDAQ.
