There's also the allure of never ending content. I have fun doing this and always can place. Imo my thought process is the finished reverse, why do people play some other mmo? I mean I perform osrs well playing with mmos a lot of the time. But I'd have to mention it has a number of articles, abilities feel rewarding then most mmos, it is possible to do content. Above all its simple and hard to master. I think the battle is much more enjoyable in osrs other mmos. When you start performing high end raids in wow, you hit 6 distinct keys.

There's an insane quantity of progress in RS. You levelled for a bit, got yourself a set of exotic armour after a few hours of dungeons and you also enjoy 95 percent of the way there. Most of the development from then on was only visual e.g. mythical weapons that were actually just a fancy skin. It is not reassuring or very satisfying.

By contract the road to a maximum powered personality in RS is very long and complex. There are numerous stages along the way that every feel like a significant achievement and progress over the last. Think about how it felt to first wear a complete set of rune, then wearing your first dragon equipment, unlocking the d scimmy, barrows gloves. Each step is actually a small one in the grand scheme of things but felt enormous.

After playing for so long I could now happily drop bosses like Zulrah and Vorkath for 2m/hr, that feels incredible considering for the longest time that they had been entirely out of my league. The idea that I've come so far yet am only halfway to where I could function as is exciting and keeps me playing. Meanwhile I had been barely any countless hours after I got my first pair of equipment.

Osrs player coming to RS3

So I have been playing RS since 2002. Cease with EoC came back with OSRS. I know with OSRS there is an"optimized" path with a sequence of quests. Earning barrows gloves, etc.. So my main questions are: Is there a goal I should work towards today? Is there a checklist of things online somewhere I should follow and check off because I move? Is there a specific YouTuber that the RS3 universally insists that gets the best guides/series to watch to learn things (OSRS includes a couple ). Any other strategies and advice is appreciated also.
