I think that sort of mentality is very prominent within our community as well, a mentality of not being interested in Runescape's game layout, only wanting the treadmil experience.

Runescape's a game, in a great way. People want to make progress and keep this, and until Runescape's devs decided that Runescape needed to be harder, that's what it was always loved for (outside of the huge PVP scene that the runescape game formerly had -- but that's dead here and it's not coming back so let us not even talk about that). Top-end PVM is a treamil going with stones and broken glass at maximum speed.

The devs really have to comprehend that and need to try do some self-searching to find creative satisfaction in operating just like the OSRS devs do. Most the community sincerely don't care about game design or"the encounter" as it pertains to runescape game, they just need to have the ability to acquire their consideration to be as striking as possible without considerable work. The Completionist capes feels homogenized and greatly devalued now, but most people are still pleased with the update simply because it means that they could possess the capes for your cape's sake. Most people favored when you could heal-'cade at Yakamaru because they did not WANT the boss fight's supposed difficulty, they only wanted to advance through the content and receive their Achto.

The majority of the community used to feel outraged when a new quest boss was hard because it meant they needed to feel stressed whilst obtaining their quest cape back. Am I neccesarily agreeing with or legitamizing some of those complaints? No, I often found myself split in that respect from the neighborhood. Except for its tyrant-sized article, I recently beat the runescape game this past year by finishing all my targets and receiving all achievements (!!!) I had all these frustrations brewing during those years spent conquering the runescape game on each level though.

To say that high degree PvM destroys the RuneScape economy is an understatement. I recall watching something on here. Ish? Maybe. Posted by a mod as an explanation as to the reason they did not incorporate a power-armor styled passive into the Trimmed Masterwork Armor and instead opted for its present tank-style passive. The reasoning put in simple terms is that high level bosses (Telos being an example in this instance) have such insanely profitable droptables that a 1% increase to kill times could (and this can be dumbing down the true effect like no tomorrow to exemplify the point) crash everything on its own droptables by that same percentage or even more.
