It appears that the group requires multiple combat styles now and it can be difficult to bring teams together. (Even though I spend longer trying to gather teams of dg than I do on real world having different combat styles will only make it worse. Since prayers aren't able to stop all attacks, armor is almost mandatory now.

Also, I'm not happy with the way they've diminished the effectiveness of prayers in the pvm. Although I'd be fine with pvp, when prayers to protect aren't completely effective, bosses can be more difficult (and the dungeoneering process, as I mentioned above). Also, all prayer-boosting equipment is gone. This makes it more costly to use turmoil and soul splitting, and also slows down the slayer's progress when they are not in use.

There are a few choices they made with the armour/weapon system that I don't like. Shields are unable to track offensive stats and I'm not sure what the Defender does. All offensive statistics are gone for gloves and boots.

The increases in offensive power are relative, not absolute (i.e. +2% rather than +8 ) and critical hit chance seems to be the sole thing offensive that can boost. This is a serious problem for weapons that are weaker, like rapier, for example, as they are much more efficient. Rapier has been restricted in speed, so it can only be an CLS that has sta instead of slash.

The second point is that style switching can't be used to combat melee, range or range. You can only stab with the weapon that has a rapier. If you want to use a slasher, you'll have switch weapons. The only method to improve your range is to choose a weapon that is faster and slower weapons are the most effective way to shoot farther.
